Hot Topics for Bank Boards
Never have the demands on a Bank's Board of Directors been greater. Demands arise from customers, stakeholders, regulators and staff. The current regulatory and economic environments have conspired to create potential hazards for directors. Directors are under increased pressure to keep the Bank in good shape, and it is crucial to have annual training dedicated to the Board of Directors, presidents, CEOs and any other senior-level officer of community banks of any size. During this session, both inside and outside directors will gain a better understanding of the duties, responsibilities and liabilities involved in this leadership role. This session is extremely popular as it broaches Compensation, CEO Performance Evaluations, and Strategic Planning. Attendees will leave this event better equipped to contribute to the financial security, marketing efforts and solvency of their institution. This training is approved by the Arkansas State Bank Department for meeting the annual training requirement for new bank directors.
